Material classification of road light poles and comparison of advantages of different material street light poles

Street light poles are the support carriers used to install street lights. The corresponding street light poles of different lamps are also different. The styles are becoming more and more beautiful with the requirements of modern life, and the varieties are more abundant. They are widely used in various types of urban main and secondary arterial roads, expressways, highways, industrial parks, city squares, schools, parks, scenic roads, rural roads and other road lighting. 1.Stainless steel street light pole
The overall light pole is made of stainless steel, with different grades such as 201, 304, and 316. Street light poles have equal diameter poles, and there are also tapered light poles rolled from stainless steel sheets. The height of stainless steel light poles is generally: 3 meters to 15 meters; stainless steel light poles have the characteristics of strong hardness, corrosion resistance, beautiful and smooth appearance, etc. Stainless steel is relatively expensive, so it is currently rarely used in China.
2.Aluminum alloy light pole
Most of the aluminum alloy light poles used in road lighting are made by spinning technology. The spinning aluminum alloy light poles use large CNC equipment to spin 6061 or 6063 aluminum alloy pipes of equal diameters at high speed to form tapered or special-shaped poles. Aluminum alloy light poles have the characteristics of good anti-corrosion performance, light weight, convenient transportation and installation, rich surface treatment methods, and long service life. The conventional heights of aluminum alloy light poles for road lighting are: 5 meters to 15 meters. Due to the relatively complex process and expensive raw materials, the original overall light pole price is second only to stainless steel light poles.
3.Steel street light pole
The steel street light pole is made of high-quality Q235A steel (Si ≤ 0.04%, yield strength > 245Mpa). It is made into a light pole blank through a series of processes such as Q235 steel plate shearing, rolling, and welding. It is then pickled, hot-dip galvanized, and surface sprayed or painted to become a finished street light pole. Light poles that have been hot-dip galvanized inside and outside can effectively prevent corrosion and have a service life of up to 30 years. Steel street light poles with heights of 5-15 meters and 15-40 meters are made of Q235 steel. Compared with the above two materials, steel street lights are more affordable and have the widest range of use at all times.
